Remap keys |
Remap your keyboard - it's easy! 1. [SHIFT][F1] To select setup options * 2. [K] For keyboard layout 3. Highlight the keyboard of your choice 4. [E] to edit Once you're in the edit menu, the rest is fairly easy and self explanatory. For instance, to add the hyphen.wpm to the [ALT][H] key combination: 5. [R] To retrieve a macro 6. WP51 asks you what key, reply by hitting the [ALT][H] combination (If for some reason that key combination was in use, WP51 would ask you to confirm your replacement) 7. WP51 asks you what macro, reply by typing "[path]hyphen.wpm" and the process is complete. WP51 now shows you a revised key list and you will find your [ALT][H] among them. 8. Exit out of all menus and try out your remapped key. * A big thank you to Andrew Roberts for bringing to our attention that [SHIFT] was missing from this step. If you tried this before and it didn't work, please note that you will be able to access your set-up options using this revised instruction. |
