Frankly, neither have we! However, in a WP forum once upon a time, someone said they needed to do just that. Here was the challenge: The user had a block of text and needed it to funnel down to a point; however, he anticipated the frequent need to edit the text and was faced with either setting/resetting margins for each line after each edit or constantly moving the placement of hard returns and spaces. The author created the funnel macro to solve this unique problem. This macro creates a series of pairs of user boxes at left and right margins. The boxes increase in size and are set to wrap. Thus you end up with funnelling text when you place your block of text after the boxes. Before you use this macro, set WP51 up to display pica measurements. The macro depends upon this. Then, just invoke funnel.wpm and watch the bottom of your screen. You will see a counter telling you how many boxes have been created. When you have enough, just hit [F1]. (We know, we know! The author could easily have made a number of repeats routine, but hey!, it was just whipped up fast one night and is shared as an oddity. If you are feeling adventurous, edit the macro and play with the variable values. You'll find you can create all sorts of interesting text effects including text that looks like an hour glass, text that is wavy, and whatever else your imagination leads you to create.
